Please note that out of sensitivity to those affected by the hurricane, the 24th Annual John A. Noble Art Auction has been rescheduled for Friday, November 30, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. If you already made reservations and have a conflict with the new date, please call the museum at 718-447-6490.
The Noble Maritime Collection's annual art auction is a Staten Island tradition. It has been called "the best and liveliest auction on Staten Island" by Michael Fressola, the Staten Island Advance Art Editor. Year in and year out, work on the auction block—all of which is donated by artists and art collectors—comprises an exceptional array of artistic mastery.
The 24th Annual John A. Noble Art Auction will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012. It begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 PM—a time to peruse the art on the block, meet the artists, and compare notes with other guests while dining on exceptional cuisine by the museum's great caterer, Catering by Framboise .
Our witty and expert auctioneer Chris Olert starts the auction at precisely 8 PM, and you'll enjoy his commentary about each piece. Our committee will ply you with opportunities to enter our raffle, the prizes of which are always exceptional, and you'll end the evening with a feeling of satisfaction. Whether you leave with a work of art or not, you'll help support a great cause and encourage the work of a bevy of fine contemporary artists and craftspeople.
Can’t make it to the auction? Fill out this Order to Bid and fax it to the museum at (718) 447-6056
