Denise Mumm
Tango Collage #32
Acrylic paper lithograph, collage on paper, 2010, 7 ½” x 11”
Framing donated by the artist
Denise Mumm grew up and was educated in Iowa. She lived in Staten Island for over 30 years. During that time she exhibited her work widely in Manhattan and in Staten Island. Her collage Kate at Work is featured in our Robbins Reef exhibition. Her interest in dancing the tango transferred to a large body of tango-themed artwork. Since moving to Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey in 2017, Mumm’s art has taken on a more maritime flavor. Now she primarily exhibits in the towns bordering Sandy Hook Bay.
