Duncan Fraser McLea (1841-1916) was a Scottish marine, landscape, and portrait painter active during the Victorian era. He spent several years working at sea, before focusing on his art. Due to his experience at sea, McLea’s work often depicts maritime scenes. He exhibited his work primarily in Northumbria, Scotland at the Royal Central Exchange Art Gallery, the Berwick Club, and the South Shields Art Club.
