Ann Chernow is an American artist who is known for portrait-style art evocative of female stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood. She first attended art classes at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY in the early 1940s and later studied under the Queens-based painter, Giuseppe Trotta. Chernow attended the School of Fine Arts at Syracuse University and New York University where she earned her Master of Arts degree in 1969. She works in various mediums, including silkscreen, painting, lithography, and etching.
