Roger Charles Sherry, a native Staten Islander, is a Landscape Architect and Master Craftsman. His Studio in North Garden Virginia is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains where he designs gardens and master plans for National Historic Landmarks, private estates and mountaintop residences, wineries and public parks. He fabricates distinctive projects with wood, steel and stone and his commissions range in scale from armoires to arbors, belvederes to bridges, campaign tents to carriage barns and dining tables to dovecotes. Notable works include the White Garden Pavilion at Snug Harbor; restorations at Robbins Reef Lighthouse and James Madison's Montpelier; bowers at Historic Jamestown and the College of William & Mary; an entry arbor, dining tables and benches for Michele Obama's White House Kitchen Garden.
